It is now official, just google "gov.uk plug in solar" the government's own website confirms that "plug in systems" will be legal in the UK on 27th August 2026. Once this is legal every company in the world, especially China, will be applying to the ENA REGISTER to have their INVERTER authorised! At the moment it takes months to get registration, who knows how long it will take when all these companies apply? Ravair Solar Ltd use Hoymiles Inverters with Factory Supplied UK PLUG and 5 mt Cable to UK Standard BS1363 and Fuse to BS1362. Whilst they are more expensive than many they are already Registered on ENA and the best on the market. If you buy inferior Inverters that are not registered your insurance etc may be invalid. We are selling out fast

One device per household (per-circuit is decided but waits on a grid-rule amendment that has not been made)
Inverter AC output no more than 800 VA and 3.5 A; panels no more than 2,000 W at STC
If panels exceed 960 W, the manufacturer must tell you to consider a professional assessment; take the advice

Fit the Flexible Solar Panels to your GARDEN SALON or Workshop and connect to the mains box that feeds the electricity, The Salon/workshop will use the electric produced by the system first and then the mains power so all the time it is sunny it is free electricity!
